No, you do not need your own keycard to book your ticket online. If you do not have one yet, you can simply select and purchase it during the booking process. You can then pick up your loaded keycard at the ticket machine. If you already have a keycard, you can conveniently reload it online and skip the ticket office.
Simply check the back of your plastic card. The number is printed there. Enter this number in the online shop to load your ticket directly onto the card. This way, you can skip the ticket machine and head straight to the lift.
It is best to store your keycard on the left side in a closed pocket. The card readers at our gates are located on the left side, so you can pass through the turnstile hands-free.
A small pro tip for anyone without a suitable pocket: you can also tuck the keycard into the cuff of your socks. No guarantees, but it can work as a handy alternative.
Yes, you choose a fixed date during booking. Since our tickets are limited and allocated in contingents, your ticket is only valid for the selected day. This gives you the advantage of less crowded trails and shorter lift waiting times, so you can fully enjoy your ride. As spots can sell out quickly, it is best to secure your preferred date online in advance. Your ticket will then be reserved and you can also park free of charge.
If you’ve already loaded your online ticket onto an existing keycard, you can head straight to the lift, the gate will recognize your card automatically. If you purchased a ticket online without loading it onto a keycard, you can simply pick up your keycard at the ticket machine using your ticket.
Don’t panic! Your day on the mountain isn’t ruined! We can reissue your ticket and deactivate the old one to prevent any misuse. However, this is only possible if you still have your receipt (digital or printed). Simply bring your proof of purchase to the ticket counter. Please note that the chip fee for the new keycard will be charged again.
